One thing that I’ve gotten away from on this blog is the restaurant review. I’ll attempt to get back to doing more of them. This review is about Connor’s Steakhouse at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, AL.

The Food
Overall, I thought the food was VERY good. For an appetizer, my wife and I had fired calamari, with a cocktail dipping sauce. It was plenty for two and it was pretty good. My wife had a filet mignon with mashed potatoes and a side salad, while I had a New York Strip with mashed potatoes and a side salad.
The steaks were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s nice when you can go somewhere to eat a steak and DO NOT have to ask for some A1 sauce. The serving size was more than enough. Connor’s definitely ranks in the top 5 places we’ve eaten.
The Atmosphere
To state the obvious, it’s in Bridge Street, which immediately gets the place some bonus points. I love everything about Bridge Street. The interior has some nice design features with great lighting. There is also and outdoor eating area overlooking the large lake.
The Price
Well, it’s not what I would call cheap. For a full course meal (no wine or mixed drinks ), the price for my wife and I to eat was about $85 including a nice tip.
